Blue Mountain Village Guitar Trail

Canada’s most unique hiking event with a musical twist! Hike a 6 kilometer trail through the Village, up the mountain through forests and across bridges and creeks where you’ll discover dozens of musicians tucked into nature performing with the backdrop of spectacular views of Georgian Bay and the mountain. 
A mountain of music will carry you along the one-of-a-kind Guitar Trail. Follow the acoustic vibe up Village Way and discover dozens of artists along the trail. Then return down Cascade winding through trails filled with the sound of a cascading creek, lush forest paths and scenic views over the area.  Check out our full Guitar Trail lineup here .

Concours D'Elegance

Concours D’Elegance , Cobble Beach

Beautiful and rarely seen automobiles will herald in a new tradition of distinction and elegance on the shores of Georgian Bay. On Friday the Participant Tour will take place throughout Grey County. Saturday is the Cars & Coffee event, and on Sunday, the Concours d'Elegance will be held on the 18th fairway of Cobble Beach. This extraordinary bayside course will play host to a rich assortment of international automobiles and distinguished guests.

25th Annual Meaford Scarecrow Invasion & Festival , Meaford

The scarecrows are invading, the scarecrows are invading! Starting early September, until the end of October, Meaford will once again be invaded by scarecrows of all shapes and sizes; bringing back the community's fall tradition of 25 years! The Scarecrow Parade and Festival will take place on Friday, September 30. Enjoy a drive around Meaford to observe the creativity and excitement of businesses and residents as they decorate their properties with scarecrows and fall décor. Don’t miss the parade and family festival, and the very popular Apple Harvest Craft Show taking place on the same weekend.

Every fall the artists of the Autumn Leaves Studio Tour invite the public into their homes and studios. From Friday, September 30th to Sunday October 2nd, explore the diversity of our seasoned artists and the artworks of a number of guest artists. The range of mediums include; pottery and ceramics, photography, water colours, acrylics and oils, fiber art, wood, and metal. You'll be warmed by the experience of country roads, inspiring studios and this amazing network of Canadian Art. The Tour is always the weekend before Thanksgiving and always FREE!
