This forest property is an extensive natural area where the forest includes stands of sugar maple, pine, spruce, and cedar. Wetland communities add to the diversity, and Black Lake offers fishing for bass. About 6 kms of trails groomed by a local snowmobile club.  Permitted forest trail activities include hiking, biking, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, and horseback riding.
